ALEXANRIA

Alexandria located north of Egypt, named Alexandria after Alexander The Great who built it.
Alexandria became the Greco-Roman capital of Egypt for about one thousand year and was one of the most important cities in the ancient world.
Alexandria gathered in it many nationalities beside the Egyptians, like Greeks and Italians who came to the city to work and live as merchants.

This picture was taken down town near the famous El Raml station, at the front of the picture you can see the statue of one of the famous national leaders here in Egypt through its history "Saad Zaghloul".



King Mariout
King Mariout located southwest of Alexandria 20 minutes away, close to Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, it is most known to the Alexandrians than all the Egyptians, because its beautiful weather many Alexandrians built houses there to spend their weekends and holidays.
These pictures were taken years ago the view is totally different now, there are houses instead of these trees, too bad the destruction of nature.
