The Nile is one of the biggest and longest rivers in the world, but it is the most famous, because on its banks rose the oldest and longest civilization ever known to mankind.
For me the best place to see here in Egypt is the Nile, the best thing is to take a Nile cruise from Cairo to Aswan or at least from Luxor to Aswan, if you traveled by air or even by train then you didn't see anything about Egypt.
The beautiful and clean weather, the view of the countryside and villages on both sides of the river and the monuments of this old and long civilization, nothing in the world compare to this. In this page you'll see a collection of pictures I took in different locations on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan and this page is linked to other pages of Luxor and Aswan too. (there are other pictures about the Nile in Cairo & Giza page but they were taken between these locations).
This picture was taken early in the morning, it shows an example of the villages in Upper Egypt, and the beauty of the countryside there.
This picture was taken after sunrise, it shows the beauty of the countryside on the banks of the Nile.
Another picture of the countryside early in the morning, with these beautiful white boats ready to sail.
Another picture of the countryside on the Nile bank, maybe you don't know that the countryside was always like this through history, never changed, it is as if you returned thousands of years to the back.
Another picture of the countryside with its primitive look, away from modern hands to destroy it, I hope it will stay like this for so long.
This picture was taken at noon before entering Aswan, The boat appears as if it is out to welcome us, this picture was taken after we passed the boat Aswan is at my back.
